Ifyoudiscoveranysignsofdeteriorationordamageinthedevice,discontinueits
use.
Generalcleaninginstructions
Followtheseinstructionstocleanthedeviceandothernon-appliedpartsunlessthe
otherpartsprovidepart-specicinstructions.Non-appliedpartsrefertothosepartsof
thesystemthatarenotindirectcontactwiththepatient.
Telemetrymonitoringdevices
1.Removeallcablesandthebatteries.
2.Closethebatterydoor.
3.Dampenasoftlint-freeclothwithoneofthepermitteddetergents.
4.Wringexcessliquidfromtheclothandwipetheexteriorsurface.Payspecial
attentiontohard-to-cleanareas,likegroovesandcrevices.
Removeanysoilassoonaspossibleafterusebywipingthedevice.
Anycontactofcleaningsolutionswithmetalpartsmaycausecorrosion.
Donotdamageorbendconnectorpinswhencleaningordrying.
Donotletuidpoolaroundconnectionpins.Ifthishappens,blotdrywith
acottonswaborsoftcloth.
5.Wipeoffthecleaningsolutionswithaclean,lightlymoistenedcloth.
6.Visuallyensurethatthedeviceisclean.Ifvisiblesoilremains,repeatcleaning
procedureuntilthedeviceisthoroughlyclean.
7.Drythoroughlywithadry,lint-freeclothandletairdryforatleast30minutes.
Dryingtimesmayvarybasedontheenvironmentalconditions.
8.Installthebatteriesandclosethebatterydoor.
9.Reconnectallcables.

Thebatterycompartmentisnotwaterproof.
NOTICE
Makesureuidsdonotentertheelectronicsthroughtheair
holesinthebatterycompartmentoor.
NOTICE
Cleaningthebatterycompartmentinamannerotherthan
thatspeciedmaycausetheunittomalfunctionandvoid
thewarranty.
Undernormalconditions,thebatterycompartmentshouldnotrequirecleaning.Ifthe
batterycompartmentdoesrequirecleaning,usethefollowinginstructions.
1.Removethebatteryfromthebatterycompartment.
2.Dampenasoftlint-freeclothwithoneofthepermitteddetergents.
3.Wringexcessliquidfromtheclothandwipetheinteriorofthebattery
compartment.Makesuremoisturedoesnotentertheelectronicsareabelow
thebatterycompartmentoor.
