What to do if GE PDM battery is not charging?
- RRonnie YoungJul 27, 2025
First, inspect the Patient Data Module’s battery interface. Look for any damage to the battery tray; if you find damage, replace it. Next, check the battery connector inside the battery compartment for damage. If damaged, contact GE technical support. Finally, try inserting a known good battery to see if it charges. If it doesn’t, contact GE technical support. Also, verify the battery itself. Ensure it's fully charged by pressing the TEST button. If the LED isn't at 100%, follow the charging and conditioning procedures. Inspect the battery connector and surfaces for damage, and replace the battery if needed. Confirm that you are using a GE approved battery charger; if it's still not charging, replace the battery.
