3–7 DIAGNOSTIC CONSOLE
Note
This section applies to Zj Type OC.
3–7–1 CRT Installation
Install the Diagnostic Console (Illustration 3–21) per the following.
1. Move the DC III console to the Operator’s room or Diagnostic room using its casters.
Note
You can move the DC III on its casters in the direction indicated by an arrow in Illustration 3–21 only .
2. Install the CRT display unit onto the DC III Console as follows:
Note
The CRT display was removed for protection during shipment.
a. Position the CRT display over the hole on the top of the DC III Console.
b. Remove the 3 screws on the back of CRT that hold the connector cover in place.
c. Remove the 2 screws on the back of CRT that hold the cable clamp in place.
d. Connect the cables listed below:
D Video cable (to VIDEO IN of CRT)
D Power cable (to DC IN of CRT)
Note
The Video cable should run through the hole of the connector cover removed in step 2.b.
e. Replace the cable clamp and the connector cover.
