Installingthe dryer.
Read these instructions completely and carefully.
Locationof YourDryer
Do Not lnstall the Dryer:
]Do not installthe dryer in an area exposed to
dripping water or outside weather conditions.
[]Do not install the dryer in an area where it will
come in contact with curtains, drapes or
anything that will obstruct the flow of
combustion and ventilation air.
[] Do not install the dryer on carpet.
Floor MUSTbe solid with a maximum slope
of 1" (9.54 cm).
Installation in Recess or Closet
[] ThisdryerMUST beexhaustedoutdoors.
]No other fuel burning appliance shall be
installed in the same closet as tile G.zlSDRYER.
]Your dryer needs the space around it for proper
ventilation. DONOTINSTALLYOURDRYERIN
A CLOSETWITHA SOLIDDOOR.
[]Closet doo_,'smust be louvered or otherwise
ventilated and must contain a minimum of
60 sq. in. of open area equally distributed.
If the closet contains both a washer and a drym;
doors must contain a minimum of 190 sq. in. of
open area equally disnibuted. Air openings are
required to be unobstructed when a door is
installed. A louvered door with equivalent air
openings for the fi.lll lengdl of the door is
acceptable.
