Why is the operating pressure low in my GE Water System?
    • E
      ewingcassidyAug 3, 2025
Low operating pressure in your GE Water System can be caused by several factors: insufficient feed water pressure or flow (you should open the feed water valve and check for restrictions), a clogged pre-filter cartridge (replace it), dirty or fouled membrane elements (flush and/or clean the machine), the inlet solenoid valve not opening (verify it's receiving power or clean/replace it), insufficient electrical power (verify proper voltage and check fuses/circuit breakers), a malfunctioning pump or motor (contact your distributor for repair/replacement), or the concentrate/recycle valve being too far open (refer to Section 2.9 for proper setting).

How to fix low operating pressure on GE E2?
    • S
      Scott BradleyAug 9, 2025
To fix low operating pressure on your GE Water System, consider these steps: * Open the feed water valve and check for any obstructions in the plumbing. * Replace the pre-filter cartridge if it's clogged. * Flush and clean the machine if the membrane elements are dirty. * Ensure the inlet solenoid valve is getting power when the machine is on; clean or replace if necessary. * Verify the correct voltage and check fuses and breakers. * Contact your distributor for pump or motor repairs. * Adjust the concentrate and recycle valves as described in Section 2.9.

What to do if the GE E2 Water System has insufficient feed water pressure?
    • J
      Jasmine AndrewsAug 17, 2025
If the GE Water System has insufficient feed water pressure, start by opening the feed water valve completely. Then, carefully inspect the feed water valve and the connected plumbing for any obstructions or restrictions that might be limiting the water flow to the system.

If your GE Water System has low operating pressure, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the feed water valve is fully open and inspect the feed plumbing for any restrictions that might be limiting the water flow. Another possible cause is a clogged pre-filter cartridge, which would require replacement. Also, the membrane elements might be dirty or fouled, in that case you should flush and/or clean the machine. Ensure that the inlet solenoid valve is receiving power when the machine is on; if not, clean or replace the solenoid valve. Verify that the system is receiving the proper voltage and check the fuses and circuit breakers. If the pump or motor isn't working correctly, contact your distributor for replacement or repair. Finally, make sure the concentrate or recycle valv...
