How to Delay the Start of Cleaning (on some models)
You can set the oven control to delay-start
the oven, clean for a specific length of time
and then turn off automatica!ly.
Make surethe clock shows the correct time
of day.
ChangetheStart Timeby touching the + or -
pads. Thestart time wi!! appear in the display.
I_ Touch the Stere/On pad.
Theself-clean cgcle will automaticallg begin
at the time set.
Followthe directions in the Before a Clean
Cyclesection.
[_ Latch the door.
NOTE:Neverforce the latch. If the oven
istoo hot, you will not be able to slide
the latch.Allow the oven to cool.
[_ Touch the Self Cleon pad.
[_] Touch the + or - pads to set the
Clean Time.
While the oven isself-cleaning, gou can
touch the Clockpad to displagthe time
of dag.To return to the clean countdown,
touch the Self Cleon pad.
Theoven shuts off automaticallg when the
clean cgcle iscomplete, and 0:00willflash
inthe display.
I_ Slidethe latch handle to the left asfar
as it will go and open the door.
TheClean Timeispresetfor 4 hours and
20 minutes. Youcan change the CleanTime
to anbttime between 5 and 5 hours,
depending on the amount of so!! in your oven.
If a differentCleanTimeis desired,touch the +
or - pads unti! thedesiredCleanTime is
displayed.
[_ Touch the Store Time pad.
To Stop a Cleon Cycle (on some models)
Touch the Cleur/Offpad.
Wait until the oven has cooled below the
locking temperature to unlatch the door.You
will not be able to open the door right away
unlessthe oven has cooled below the locking
temperature.
After o Cleon Cycle (on some models)
Youcannot setthe ovenfor cooking until
the oven iscool enough for the door to be
unlatched.
Younag notice some white ash in the oven.
Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the oven
cools.
If white spotsremain, remove them with a
soap-filledscouring pad and rinse thoroughly
with a vinegar and water mixture.
Thesedeposits are usuallg a salt residue
that cannot be removed bg the cleancgcle.
If the oven is not clean after one clean cycle,
repeat the cycle.
You cannot set the oven for cooking
untilthe oven iscool enough for the door
to unlock.
Whilethe oven is self-cleaning,you can
touch the Clock padto display the time
of day.To return to the clean countdown,
touch the Cooking Timepad.
Ifthe racks become hard to slide,apply
a small amount of vegetable oil or cooking
oil to a paper towel and wipe the edges
of the oven rackswith the paper towel.
