Why is the dispenser drawer not dispensing properly in my GE Washer?

  If the dispenser drawer is not dispensing properly in your GE washer, it may be because laundry detergent packets have been placed in the dispenser drawer. Laundry detergent packets should not be used in the dispenser. They should only be added directly to the wash tub following the manufacturer's directions.

  If your GE Washer has no power or isn't working, start by ensuring it's securely plugged into a working outlet. Check that both the hot and cold water supply faucets are fully turned on. Inspect your house's circuit breakers or fuses and replace any blown fuses or reset tripped breakers; the washer should ideally have a separate outlet. Also, the first time the washer is plugged in, it performs automatic system checks, which may take up to 20 seconds before you can use it.
