Why my GE GSD2100V65BB doesn't dry dishes?
    • K
      Kyle WilsonAug 20, 2025
If your GE dishwasher isn't drying dishes, it could be due to a few reasons. Ensure the inlet water temperature is at least 120°F. Select HEATED DRY. Use HOT START and ADDED HEAT options. Select a higher cycle, such as POTS & PANS or HEAVY WASH. Also, check the rinse agent dispenser and fill as required.

What to do if my GE Dishwasher won’t run?
    • A
      Alexander WilliamsAug 23, 2025
If your GE dishwasher won’t run, check if a fuse is blown or the circuit breaker is tripped; replace the fuse or reset the breaker and remove other appliances from the circuit. Also, ensure the power to the dishwasher is turned on, especially if it's controlled by a wall switch.

How to prevent spots on glasses in GE GSD2100V65BB?
    • K
      Kenneth BarkerAug 28, 2025
To prevent spots and filming on glasses and flatware in your GE Dishwasher, consider the following: If you have extremely hard water, use high-quality rinse agents such as Cascade® Platinum™ Power Dry™ Rinse Aid or Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid; a softener may be required. Ensure your water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C). Avoid overloading and load properly. Ensure you are using fresh, high-quality detergent such as Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent. Refill the rinse agent dispenser with a quality rinse aid, and make sure you use the proper amount of highly rated detergent.

How to remove white film from GE GSD2100V65BB?
    • B
      Bobby ClaytonAug 30, 2025
A white film on glassware, dishware, and the interior is likely caused by a low-quality phosphate-free dishwasher detergent. To remove it, run a dishwasher cycle with citric acid (WD35X151 kit found online) in the detergent cup, without silverware or metal items. Alternatively, pour 1 cup of vinegar into the dishwasher just after the detergent cup opens and let the dishwasher complete its cycle. Repeat as needed. The use of high quality rinse agents such as Cascade® Platinum™ Power Dry™ Rinse Aid or Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid may help minimize a repeat build up of film. Also, the use of high quality detergents such as Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent will help prevent film build-up.

What to do if my GE GSD2100V65BB leaves cloudiness on glassware?
    • S
      Sean MoralesSep 1, 2025
Cloudiness on glassware can occur due to a combination of soft water and too much detergent, which is called etching and is permanent. To prevent this, use less detergent if you have soft water and wash glassware in the shortest cycle that will get it clean. Also, make sure that water temperature entering dishwasher doesn't exceed 150°F. Lower the water heater temperature.

How do I clean a stained tub interior in my GE Dishwasher?
    • T
      Todd FullerSep 4, 2025
Stains in your GE dishwasher tub can be caused by tomato-based foods, tea or coffee, iron deposits, or hard water minerals. Using the RINSE ONLY cycle after adding the dish to the load can decrease the level of staining from tomato-based foods. Remove tea or coffee stains by hand using a solution of 1/2 cup bleach and 3 cups warm water (wait 20 minutes after a cycle for heating elements to cool down). For overall yellow or brown film from iron deposits, a special filter in the water supply line is needed. For white film from hard water minerals, GE Appliances recommends high quality rinse agents such as Cascade® Platinum™ Power Dry™ Rinse Aid or Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid. Run dishwasher with citric acid to remove mineral deposits.

How to remove black marks from dishes in GE GSD2100V65BB Dishwasher?
    • K
      Karina SanchezSep 6, 2025
Black or gray marks on dishes are caused by aluminum utensils rubbing against them. Remove the marks with a mild, abrasive cleaner.
  • S

Why are there suds in my GE GSD2100V65BB tub?
    • R
      Robert EwingSep 8, 2025
Suds in the tub of your GE dishwasher are usually caused by using the wrong detergent or a rinse agent spill. Use only high-quality automatic dishwasher detergents to avoid sudsing; Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent are approved for use. If rinse agent was spilled, always wipe it up immediately. To remove suds, open the dishwasher and let them dissipate, then add 1 gallon of cold water. On models with a dial, close and latch the dishwasher, then pump out water by slowly turning the dial until a drain period is reached, repeating if necessary. On models with electronic control, pump out water by pressing the START/RESET pad, then again 10 seconds later, repeating if necessary.

Why doesn't the sanitized light illuminate on my GE GSD2100V65BB Dishwasher?
    • G
      Glenn MyersSep 12, 2025
The sanitized light may not illuminate at the end of the cycle if the door was opened and the cycle was interrupted during the final rinse. Do not interrupt the cycle by opening the door during the wash cycle. Also, the incoming water temperature might have been too low; raise the water heater temperature to between 120°F and 150°F.
