Why don't my dishes dry in my GE Moffat Dishwasher?
    • J
      Jennifer FryeAug 21, 2025
Several factors can affect drying performance in your GE dishwasher: * Ensure the inlet water temperature is at least 120°F. Select Heated Dry or Dry Boost, and use Wash Temp Boost. * Check the rinse agent dispenser and fill as required. * Leave the door closed after the clean light appears to allow the fan to run for an additional 20 minutes on some models. Note that opening the door will cancel this fan extension. * If using the Light cycle, switch to a different cycle, as it uses lower water temperatures. * Allow cycles to fully complete.

What to do if water won’t pump out of the tub of my GE Moffat?
    • A
      Anthony AcevedoAug 25, 2025
If water won't pump out of your GE dishwasher tub, the drain may be clogged. If you have an air gap, clean it. If the dishwasher drains into a disposer, run the disposer to clear it. Check if your kitchen sink is draining well; if not, you may need a plumber.

Why does my GE Moffat control panel respond but the dishwasher never fills with water?
    • C
      Carlos BellAug 26, 2025
If your GE dishwasher's control panel responds to inputs but the dishwasher never fills with water: * Make sure the door is firmly closed. * Ensure the water valve (usually under the sink) is turned on. * The flood float may be stuck. Remove the ultra-fine filter and lightly tap the piece under it that looks like a salt shaker, then replace the filter.

    • M
      Matthew NewmanSep 2, 2025

Refer to the Loading section for guidance. * Make sure your detergent is fresh, and use a highly rated detergent such as Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent. * Refill the rinse agent dispenser with a rinse agent such as Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid if it's empty. * Use the proper amount of highly rated detergent.

How to remove white film from glassware, dishware, and the interior of my GE Moffat Dishwasher?
    • A
      Alejandra JohnsonSep 5, 2025
A white film on glassware, dishware, and the interior of your GE dishwasher is likely caused by a low-quality phosphate-free dishwasher detergent. To remove it, run a dishwasher cycle with citric acid, using Finish® Dishwasher Cleaner. Alternatively, a vinegar rinse may be used by pouring 1 cup of vinegar into the dishwasher just after the detergent cup opens and letting the dishwasher complete its cycle. This may be repeated several times a year as needed. The use of a rinse agent such as Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid may help minimize a repeat build up of film. Also, the use of a highly rated detergent such as Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent will help prevent film build-up.

Why is water standing in the bottom of my GE Moffat Dishwasher tub?
    • C
      Caitlin LambertSep 6, 2025
If you find water standing in the bottom of your GE dishwasher tub, the air gap may be clogged, so clean the air gap. Also, check if the high drain loop or air gap is not installed, refer to the Installation Instructions for proper drain line installation.
