      Christopher GoodmanAug 12, 2025
Large, yellow, or yellow-tipped burner flames can indicate several issues. First, verify you have the correct gas supply. Then, determine if the burner flames are normal using the illustrations. If they don't look normal, check for dirty burners and orifices; clean or replace them. Normal burner flames should appear as B or C, depending on your gas type. Note that some yellow tipping is normal with LP gas. Also, check the output gas supply and ensure the electrical plug is properly grounded. Finally, ensure the rubber discs below the knobs are correctly positioned.
