  Your GE Microwave Oven might not start due to several reasons. It could be a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker in your home; in this case, replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. A power surge could also be the cause; unplug the microwave oven, then plug it back in. Ensure the 3-prong plug on the oven is fully inserted into the wall outlet. Also, make sure the door is securely closed by opening the door and closing it again securely.

  If you see a SENSOR ERROR message on your GE Microwave Oven display, it could be because the door was opened or START/PAUSE was pressed during the Sensor cooking program before steam was detected. In this case, close the door and press START immediately. Alternatively, steam might not have been detected in the maximum amount of time. If this occurs, use Time Cook to heat for a longer duration.
