Why is my GE PFWS4600LWW making a loud or unusual noise, vibrating, or shaking?
    • W
      William PetersSep 5, 2025
If your GE washer is making loud or unusual noises, vibrating, or shaking, here are some things to consider: * The washer is designed to move 1/4” to reduce forces transmitted to the floor; this movement is normal. * Check if the washer is level by pushing and pulling on the back right and then back left of the washer. If it's uneven, adjust the rubber leveling legs so they all firmly touch the floor and are locked in place. * Open the door and manually redistribute the load. To check the machine, run a rinse and spin cycle with no load. If it runs normally, the unbalance was caused by the load.

What to do if my GE PFWS4600LWW is leaking water?
    • V
      Victor NielsenDec 1, 2025
If your GE washer is leaking water, here are a few things you can check: * Inspect the door gasket to ensure it is properly seated and not torn. * Wipe off the rubber door seal to remove any dirt or clothing. * If you notice excessive suds, use less detergent. * Make sure hose connections are tight at both the washer and the faucets, and ensure the drain hose is correctly inserted and secured to the drain facility. * Check your household plumbing; you may need to call a plumber. * If you use powder soap, it may cause clogs inside the dispenser, remove the drawer and clean both the drawer and the inside of the dispenser box. * Use HE detergent and the correct amount. * If it is a new installation, check for cracks on the inside of the dispenser box. Note that water may drip ...

    • M
      Michael JonesSep 14, 2025
