Why is my GE Washer leaking water?

Next, check all hose connections at the faucets to ensure they are tight and that rubber washers are properly installed. Also, verify the drain hose is correctly inserted and secured. Inspect the household plumbing for any clogs, and ensure the drain hose isn't rubbing against the wall to prevent wear. Finally, tighten the hoses at the faucets and consider replacing the fill hoses every 5 years to maintain optimal condition.

  If water is siphoning out of your GE Washer, it's likely because the drain standpipe is too low or the hose is inserted too far into the standpipe. The drain hose must be higher than 30 inches at some point between the washer and the drain pipe. Consider using an anti-siphon clip, and refer to the Installation Instructions for more details.
