What to do if the cooking functions do not work on my GE Oven?
- JJohn WalkerJul 31, 2025
If cooking functions aren't working on your GE Oven, start by testing the functions in Service Mode. If the cavity lights are always on, inspect the plunger switch. For the upper cavity, check the relay and its wiring if the cooling fan, sail switch, and lights are working. If the relays click but there's no heat, examine the wiring and heating element resistance. If none of the functions work in Service Mode, the display/logic board may need replacement. If some functions work while others don't, investigate the relay board that isn't working.
