Route tile topper tubing between tile (old'a ater line and the refl'igerator.
Route tile tubing through a hole drilled in the wall or floor (behind tile
reh'igerator or ac!jacent base cabinet) as close to tile wall as posfible.
Be.a/re tber_ is sufficient extra tubing[about 8 feet (244cm) coiled ina 3turns of about
70" (25cm) diameterJto allow the refrigerator to moveout tram the waftafter installation.
Place tile compression nut and iermle (sleeve) onto tile end oithe tubing and
connect it to tile shutoff valve.
Make sm'e the robing is fldly inserted into the valve. Tighten tile compression
nut se(x_rely.

TurnOn the Water and FlushOut the Tubing
JTm'n the main water supplyon and i]ush out the tubing until the water

JShut the _ater oil" at the _ater valve alier about one quart (1 I_) of water has
been flushed throngh the tubing.
