Carefully remove the filter sumps, which contain water, and discard old filters.
Unscrew the cap, remove tubing if necessary, and use pliers to extract the RO cartridge.
Install the empty post-filter sump housing into the system.
Fill the pre-filter sump with water up to 1" of the O-ring and add bleach.
Restore water supply and allow the system to fill for 10 minutes.
Run water for 20 minutes or until bleach odor disappears, then turn off supply and drain.
Insert new filters into the sumps and tighten them securely.
Install the RO cartridge with the O-ring first, lubricate the cover O-ring, and tighten the cap.
If the RO cartridge was replaced, also replace the flow control and screen.
Turn on water supply, let the system refill (up to 4 hours), and check for leaks.
Replace batteries to reset the filter change indicator light and ensure proper operation.
Allow faucet to run for 5 minutes to remove harmless carbon particles.
Fill and empty the storage tank three times to remove preservative odor.
