UNPACKING THE WASHER
.ikWARNING: Re,<e the
and plastic bags after the washer is unpacked. Make
materials inaccessible to children. Children might use
them tot play. Cartons covered Mth rugs, bedspreads,
or plastic sheets can become airtight chambers
causing suffocation.
1. Grit and relllove the top and bottom packaging straps.
2. X._]file it is in the carton, caretiflly lay the washer on its
side. DO NOT lay the washer on its ti'ont or back.
3. Turn down the bom)m flaps--remove all base
packaging, including the cardboard, sUrof0am base
and stvrotoam tub support (inserted in center (ff base).
NOTE: If you axe h_stallh_g a pedestal, proceed to the
installation h_structions that come with the pedestal.
4. Carefully return the washer to an upright position and
i'ei//ove the C_lI'[On,
5. Careflfllx move the washer to xfithin 4 teet( 122 cm) of
the final location.
6. Remove the fi)llowing fl'om the back side of the washer:
4 bolts
4 plastic space_ (including rubber grommets)
4 power cord retaine_

NOTE: Failure to remove the shi ) )in(* braces

the washer to become sexerelv unbalanced.
Save all bolts for future use.
NOTE: If you must transport the washer at a later date,
you must reinstall the shipping support hardware to
prevent shipping damage. Keep the hardware in the
plastic bag provided.
