ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
Read these instructions completely
and carefully.
CIRCUIT - Individual, properly polarized and grounded
15-amp branch circuit fllsed with 15-amp time-delay fllse
or circuit breaker:
POWER SUPPLY - 2-wire, with ground, 120-volt, single-
phase, 60-Hz, Mternafing Current.
OUTLET RECEPTACLE - Properly grounded
3-prong receptacle to be located so tile power supply cord
is accessible when the washer is in an installed position.

GROUNDING REQUIREMENTS
WARNING: hnproper connection of the
equipment grounding conductor can result in a risk
of electrical shock. Check with a licensed electfidan
if you are in doubt as to whether the appliance is
propedy grounded.
1. The washer MUST be grounded. In the event (ff
malfimction or breakdown, grounding will reduce
the risk of electrical shock by providing a path of least
resistance fi)r electrical CUlTent.

Since your washer is equipped with a power supply
cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and
a grounding plug, tile plug MUST be plugged into an
appropriam, copper-wired receptacle that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local
codes and ordinances or in the absence of local codes,
with the National Electrical Codes, ANSI/NFPA 70
(latest edition),/t in doubt, call a licensed electrician,
DO NOT cut off or alter the grounding prong on the
power supply cord. In situations where a two-slot
receptacle is present, it is tile owner's responsibiliD, to
have a licensed electrician replace it with a properly
grounded three-prong grounding-t)pe receptacle.
WATER SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS
Hot and cold water ti_ucets MUST be installed within
42 inches (107 cm) ot your washer's water inlet. The
ti_ucets MUST be 3/4" (1.9 cm) garden hose-_,pe so
inlet hoses can be connected. X,Vaterpressure MUST be
between 10 and 120 pounds per square inch. Y_ur water

Tile hot water mmperature should be set to deliver
water at 120 ° to 140 °F (48°-60°C).
DRAIN REQUIREMENTS
1. Drain capable ot eliminating 17 gals (64.3 I,)
per minute.
2. A standpipe diameter of 1 1/4" (3.18 cm) minimum.
3. Tile standpipe height aboxe tile floor
should be:

NOTE: Tile drain hose attached to tile washer can reach
a 58" (147 cm) high standpipe. For a higher standpipe,
