Why is my GE WDSS4120 Washer not getting cold water?

  If your GE Washer isn't dispensing cold water, make sure the cold water supply faucet is open. Check for any kinks in the cold water inlet hose; straighten or replace it if needed. Inspect the mixing valve screens and the screens in the inlet hose for clogs; disconnect the inlet hose to clean or replace the screen. Also, check the pressure hose for clogs; remove and clean or replace it. Other potential issues include a failed pressure switch or temperature switch (test and replace if necessary), a failed cold water side of the mixing valve solenoid (test and replace), a failed timer (test and replace), or a failed electronic control (test and replace). Lastly, inspect for any broken, loose, shorted, or incorrect wiring, consulting the appropriate wiring diagram.

Inspect the hot water inlet hose for any kinks and straighten or replace it if necessary. Additionally, examine the mixing valve screens and the screens in the inlet hose for clogs; disconnect the inlet hose to clean or replace the screen.
