Geberit Drainage Systems
To maximise the benefit of the acoustic properties of the
Silent-db20 system, Geberit Silent-db20 acoustic brackets
must be used. These brackets have a rubber insulated
lining with controls on restricting the compression of the
rubber, removing the risk of over compressing that could
result in the transfer of structure borne noise.
Diameter of connecting rod between bracket and wall
fixing depends on length. Contact Geberit Technical for
advice. please see section 5.2.1 for additional data on
fixing using drop rods.
Geberit Silent-db20 pipes are to be fixed with anchor
brackets and guide brackets. The distance between the
anchor bracket and the guide bracket is maximum of
6 metres or nominal outside diameter spacing of guide
brackets whenever stability is required in the system.
