Setting the soft tissue filter
Five numbered and graduated segments of increasing size are marked on the
cephalostat. The graduated segments correspond to the position of the
adjustment lever of the nasion support.
To enter this value into the system, press the buttons and on the main
control panel to increase or decrease the value. The last two characters of the
first line on the display must match the value set on the cephalostat.
Before taking the exposure, ask the patient to close the mouth, (specifically
the teeth and lips).
