2 Extract the foam filtering element from the interior of the filter box.
3 Clean the filter in a water and soap solution. Allow it to dry completely.
4 Dip the dry filter in oil, the same type used in the generator engine.
5 Drain by pressing the air filter with your hand.
6 Install the filtering sponge in the filter box and close the filter cap with the tab.
NOTE: If the filter has not been drained properly the engine may produce
abnormal smoke during its first use. The engine may even work irregularly if air
intake is not enough.
NOTE: If compressed air is used, check that the pressure does not exceed
2BAR and do not place the air gun too near to avoid damage to the filter.
