If the GenerLink switch won't transfer to the available power, first disconnect the generator. Then, reduce the load by turning off all circuits. Check that the yellow status light is on. Reconnect and restart the generator, restoring a load equal to or less than its capacity, and operate household loads using your generator. Do not attempt to fix it yourself.

      Jennifer HillAug 14, 2025
If the GenerLink switch won't continuously connect and periodically cycles the loads on and off, it may be due to the load sensing feature. Disconnect the generator for a short period. Then, reconnect GenerLink through a 20-amp circuit.
