(NOTE: To engage the hammering mechanism, apply and maintain pressure on the bit. When pressure on the bit is released, the hammering
action will stop and the rotation will continue until the tool is switched off.)


CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before adjusting or checking function on the tool.
 CAUTION:
Always check the direction of rotation before operating the tool in the hammer drill mode. The tool must be set for
forward or clockwise rotation only. Failure to obey this caution may cause property damage.
 CAUTION:
Do not change the operating mode until the tool has come to a complete stop. Moving the “mode selector” switch
while the drill is operating can cause damage to the tool.

To install a drill bit:

wrench, pliers, or means other than the chuck key to tighten or loosen the chuck.
To remove the drill bit:
 
 WARNING:
Failure to unplug the tool could result in accidental starting causing possible serious injury.
 
 
 WARNING:
To prevent personal injury, always remove the chuck key from the chuck after each use.
