- To ensure proper ventilation, do not install in a low clearance compartment
- Working with the XM Series UPS may produce arcs or sparks. Thus, the XM Series UPS
should not be used in areas where there are inflammable materials or gases requiring
ignition protected equipment.
Mounting position of the XM Series UPS
The XM Series UPS may be mounted on the top of a horizontal surface or under a horizontal
surface.
Cooling by forced air
The XM Series UPS produce heat when operating. The amount of heat produced is proportional
to the amount of power supplied by the XM Series UPS. DC fans are used to provide forced air
cooling.
