PROTECTIONS AGAINST ABNORMAL CONDITIONS
Genesis XM Series UPS has been provided with protections detailed below.
AVR Protection:
Genesis XM Series has an in-built AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) which protects connected
load from low voltage and high voltage conditions when working on main supply.
Protections against extreme high & low voltages:
In case of main supply failure or extreme low voltage or high voltage, Genesis XM Series UPS
transfers the connected load to Inverter (Load on Battery).
Over Load Protection.
Output is protected from over load through MCB for mains and through electronic protection for
Inverter section.
Low battery voltage warning alarm.
When load is on Battery after the backup time elapses the UPS will give an warning alarm before
tripping. It will trip indicating battery discharged after 3 to 4 Minutes.
