First, try resetting the system by turning off the red emergency stop button, waiting three seconds, and then turning the machine back on. Other possible solutions include: adjusting the up limit switch slightly lower or replacing the contacts, ensuring the correct rated load is in the platform, adjusting the pressure switch by turning the nut 1/4 turn into the hydraulic line, fully charging the batteries, repeating the calibration procedure for the overload system, or lubricating the slider channel.

  If the pressure switch alarm continues to sound when your Genie Scissor Lift is at the down limit with the rated load, there are several possible reasons. You can try to reset the system by turning off the red emergency stop button, waiting three seconds, and then turning the machine back on. Also, consider raising the down limit switch. Make sure the correct rated load is in the platform. You might also need to adjust the pressure switch by turning the nut 1/4 turn into the hydraulic line or repeat the calibration procedure.
