AMPLIFIER OVERVIEW

FRONT PANEL OVERVIEW

1. ¼" INPUT JACK

Describes the unbalanced, high impedance input for instrument connection.

2. GAIN CONTROL

Controls the gain for the Warm channel, from clean to pushed vintage sustain.

3. VOLUME CONTROL

Preamp volume control for the Warm channel, balancing output with gain.

4-6. TONE SECTION

Three tone circuits (bass, mid, treble) for the Warm channel with 15db cut/boost.

7. REVERB CONTROL

Adjusts signal send level to the on-board Accutronics reverb.

8-10. CHANNEL SELECTOR SWITCH AND INDICATOR LIGHTS

Selects between Warm or Hot channels with LED indicators.

11. GAIN SWITCH / CLASSIC or HIGH

Sets gain structure for the Hot channel (Classic or High).

12. TEXTURE SWITCH / DYNAMIC or COMPRESSED

Changes Hot channel character between Dynamic and Compressed.

13. GAIN CONTROL

Controls Hot channel gain from clean to high gain.

14. VOLUME CONTROL

Preamp volume control for the Hot channel.

15. TUBE CONTOUR CONTROL

Adds a tone stack within the preamp for mid-range or modern tone shaping.

16-18. TONE SECTION

Three tone circuits (bass, mid, treble) for the Hot channel with 15db cut/boost.

19. REVERB CONTROL

Adjusts signal send level to the on-board reverb for the Hot channel.

20. GLOBAL ATTACK SWITCH

Boosts upper mid frequencies for enhanced pick attack and bite.

21. GLOBAL ATTACK LEVEL CONTROL

Provides variable "boost" to the Global Attack circuit.

22. GLOBAL REVERB CONTROL

Controls the return level of the on-board reverb.

23. GLOBAL VOLUME CONTROL

Master volume control for the final output stage of the amplifier.

24. STANDBY SWITCH

Removes high voltage from output tubes to protect them during warm-up.

25. POWER SWITCH

Turns on the AC power to the amplifier, energizing all circuits.

1. VOLTAGE CHART

Provides information for selecting correct fusing for international use.

2. VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH

Changes the AC power voltage (115V or 230V) for amp operation.

3. IEC RECEPTACLE & FUSE HOLDER

Connects the detachable power cord and houses the mains power fuse.

4. FOOTSWITCH INPUT

5-pin DIN connector for attaching the 4-button footswitch.

5. EFFECTS LOOP

Serial effects loop for connecting external processors or other amps.

6. LINE OUTPUT

Unbalanced, line-level output derived after the power amplifier.

7. SPEAKER OUTPUTS

Parallel jacks for connecting to guitar cabinets.

8. IMPEDANCE SELECTOR SWITCH

Selects output transformer impedance for desired cabinet load.
