RFID (RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION) SENSOR
Description:
The plotter is continuously reading, and when a card/part is
approached it will decode the information and do the required
actions. Multiple actions can be done using this system such as
option installation, RFID components activation, etc.
Card options normally are generic and once installed are linked to
that plotter. Can only be reused in the same machine.
If the card/part is not working, please verify:
1. The card/part is positioned correctly in the RFID area. The tag reading/writing operation cannot
be done fast, please let the card minimum 3 seconds at the correct position.
2. If display doesn't show any message, please check if LED 5 (green) is blinking. You can verify that
the RFID is working properly passing over the RFID zone another smart part like gravity brake, cutter
knife or another RFID Card.
3. If there is no reaction - please check the resistance of CON28 to antenna coil (expected 6 ohms).
4. If the CON28 is OK please replace master board.
There is an antenna located under the right side cover to read RFID tags.
