What to do if coffee leaks from my Gevi GECME022-U Coffee Maker portafilter?

If coffee leaks from the outer side of the portafilter or doesn’t flow smoothly, several factors could be at play: * There might be coffee powder on the edge of the portafilter. Clean it off. * The portafilter may not be correctly installed. Re-install it properly. * The coffee powder could be too fine. Avoid using very fine coffee powder. * The coffee powder in the portafilter might be pressed too firmly. Press it lightly, up to the max line. * The two outlet holes of the portafilter could be blocked. Remove the filter and clean the two outlet holes. * The holes of the filter may be blocked. Soak the filter in clean water for about half an hour, then clean it with a brush.
