Why does my Gevi GECME403-U Espresso taste like acid or vinegar?

An acid or vinegar taste in your Gevi Coffee Maker espresso can be due to: * The coffee maker not being cleaned correctly after cleaning mineral deposits. Clean the coffee maker per the instructions in 'before the first use' several times. * Using coffee powder that has been stored in a hot, wet place for a long time. Use fresh coffee powder, or store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
