Description of the output terminals and their functions
La funzione è descritta sulla base delle impostazioni di fabbrica. Quando il
display touch-screen KD400Y002 è collegato, è possibile modicare tutti
i parametri (indicati con * nel testo). I limiti di temperatura possono essere
settati mediante i termostati.
The function is described according to the factory settings. When the KD400Y002
LCD touchscreen is connected you can modify all parameters (checked by * in
the text). The temperature limits can be set up inside the thermostats.
Relè uscita circolatore impianto di riscaldamento (utilizzare
una protezione esterna che serve da punto di disconnessione di
emergenza). I terminali forniscono una tensione a 230 V se una
delle uscite (6) viene attivata.
Relay of the circulator output terminals (use external protection which
serves as an emergency disconnection point). Terminals provide mains power
if any output channel (6) is switched on, but they don´t ensure mains isolation
for electrical safety.
Relè uscita caldaia (utilizzare una protezione esterna che
serve da punto di disconnessione di emergenza).
I terminali di uscita del relè (contatto pulito) si attivano se
un’uscita (6) viene attivata. I terminali “LN” forniscono l’alimentazione elettrica
a 230 V per la caldaia.
Relay of the boiler output terminals (use external protection which serves as
an emergency disconnection point). The galvanically separated relay output
terminals are switched on if any output channel (6) is switched on. The “LN”
terminal provides the mains power of 230 V for the boiler circulator.
Terminali di alimentazione elettrica. La connessione
dell’alimentazione elettrica avviene per mezzo di un cavo
essibile con spina. Questo circuito di alimentazione è protetto
da un fusibile da 1,6 A (12).
Mains power terminals. The mains power connection is solved by a exi-cable
with a plug. This power supply circuit is protected by a 1,6 A (12) fuse.
Il terminale serve per il collegamento dei cavi di messa a terra, non deve
essere usato per il collegamento al cavo di terra delle parti metalliche del
sistema di riscaldamento. Questo collegamento deve essere eettuato al di
fuori del modulo di controllo.
terminals serves for the connection of the mains earth protection wire, they
must not be used for connection to the protective earth bonding of the heating
system metal parts. This has to be connected outside the control unit box.
Terminali di uscita dei canali 1-16. I canali di uscita (6) forniscono
l’alimentazione 24 Vdc alle teste termoelettriche. Ogni uscita è dotata di
sicurezza (se l’unità rileva una corrente superiore a 0,4 A, l’uscita viene
automaticamente scollegata e questo stato è indicato dal LED sul pannello
frontale dell’unità). Collegare al massimo una testa termoelettrica per
ogni uscita. Inoltre, è possibile collegare un relè per accendere gli elementi
scaldanti, i pannelli a infrarossi e così via. La corrente massima non deve
però superare 1,6 A. Quando questo limite viene raggiunto, l’unità attiva la
modalità commutatore di impulsi in uscita che permette la distribuzione di
corrente massima ad ogni singola valvola termoelettrica. Grazie all’inerzia
di queste valvole, la trasformazione non ha alcun eetto negativo (l’unico
eetto possibile potrebbe essere dato da un’apertura più lenta delle valvole).
Combinato con relè elettrici, potrebbe inuire negativamente a causa di
continue commutazioni ON/OFF.
Output terminals of channels 1-16. The output channels (6) providing 24
V DC for thermo-electric valves. Each output has short circuit protection (if
the unit detects a higher current than 0,4 A, then the output is automatically
disconnected and this state is indicated by the relevant LED on the front panel
of the unit. Connect max. one thermo-electric head for every output. A relay
for switching the heaters can also be connected, infrared panels and so on. The
only condition is that the maximum current must not exceed 1.6 A. When this

Avvertenza. Warning.
• Il modulo deve essere installato solo da personale qualicato.
• L’alimentazione elettrica deve essere completamente disattivata
durante l’installazione.
• The unit must be installed only by qualied personnel.
• The power supply must be switched o completely during installation.
1. Svitare la vite (11) dal pannello frontale e rimuovere il pannello stesso.
2. Fissare l’unità sulla barra DIN o montarla in uno spazio prescelto inserendo
le due viti negli appositi fori (1). Considerare attentamente quali siano le
entrate e uscite necessarie per preparare i cavi richiesti nei punti adeguati.
3. Il collegamento alla rete elettrica avviene per mezzo di una spina con
un cavo di alimentazione collegabile ad una presa elettrica protetta da un
interruttore da 16 A. La spina serve inoltre da punto di disconnessione di
emergenza. Non eettuare ancora il collegamento alla rete elettrica!
4. Collegare i cavi dei sensori, le teste termoelettriche e i contatti caldaia al
modulo PM100W. Far riferimento al capitolo “Descrizione dei terminali di
uscita e relative funzioni” per la descrizione di ogni terminale e le relative
funzioni.
5. Chiudere il pannello frontale e ssarlo con una vite (11). Accendere
l’alimentazione generale della rete elettrica e seguire le istruzioni del capitolo
“Associazione dei dispositivi”.
1. Release the screw (11) on the front panel and open the cover.
2. Fix the unit box to the DIN slot or mount it onto the selected place by the 2
screws inside the mounting holes (1). Think thoroughly about which inputs and
outputs you are going to use to prepare the needed cables at the right places.
3. The mains connection is installed as a plug with a mains cable connectable to
an electrical socket protected by a 16 A circuit breaker. The plug also has the role
of an emergency disconnection point. Do not connect the mains yet!
4. Install the needed cables from the sensors, the thermo-electric valves and the
boiler contacts to the PM100W unit. A description of each of the terminals and
their functions can be found in the chapter: Description of the output terminals
and their functions.
5. Close the cover and x it by a screw (11). Turn on the mains and then follow the
instructions in the chapter: Enrolling devices.
