- Unscrewing the protective cap from the horizontal rod.
- Inserting the stopper into the drain hole.
- Inserting the horizontal rod into the drain body and through the hole of the stopper.
- Connecting the lift rod to the faucet and the lift rod strap to the horizontal rod.
- Adjusting the length of the lift rod strap for proper pop-up operation.
- Connecting the water supply lines to the faucet connections.
- Flushing the water lines before use by removing the aerator and turning on the water.
- Reinstalling the aerator after flushing.

Maintenance Features:

- Leaking from the sink drain at the base of the sink: Possible cause is a rough or irregular sink surface. Solution is to apply additional silicone sealant to the beveled side of the drain flange, or retighten and test for leaks.
