1. Warnings
The installation and operating instructions must be
available at all times and must be handed over to the
qualified installer so that they can be consulted during
work on the storage heater. We therefore ask that you
pass these instructions on to the next lessee or owner
if you relocate.
The storage heater may only be installed and
repaired by a qualified installer. Repairs car-
ried out incorrectly can result in significant
risks for the user.
Storage heaters may not be used in rooms
where there are flammable substances of
any kind, such as gases, vapours or dust,
even temporarily. This also applies for vola-
tile solvents. If these substances are present,
please ensure that the storage heaters have
cooled down to room temperature.
If the storage heater is in operation, its sur-
face temperature may exceed 80 °C. Particu-
lar care must be taken in the presence of
children and vulnerable persons.
The surfaces of the storage heater must not
be covered or adjusted, as this can result in
excessively high temperatures that could be
dangerous.
Do not allow any flammable objects to touch
the storage heater or come into contact with
the hot air blown out of the device.
Observe the minimum clearances. The clear-
ances must not be reduced by objects hang-
ing close by. Any objects must be at a dis-
tance of at least 300 mm from the air outlet
grid. This is also true for deep-pile carpet.
Ensure that small children or older or fragile
persons do not touch the surfaces of the
heater, in particular the air outlet grids.
Children under the age of 3 should be kept
away from the device if they are not under
constant supervision.
Children over the age of 3 and below the age
of 8 may only switch the storage heater on or
off if it has been set up or installed in the in-
tended normal operating position and they
are supervised or have been instructed in the
safe use of the device and understand the
associated dangers.
