  If the cartridge heater on your Global Portable Generator isn't reacting, there could be several reasons. First, check for air in the fuel line and purge it, or try restarting the TEG. Also, ensure the gas supply pressure is adequate and increase it if it's too low. Other potential causes include a dirty fuel filter (replace the element), incorrect fuel pressure adjustment (adjust the TEG fuel pressure), a plugged fuel orifice (replace it), an incorrect fuel orifice size (replace with the correct size), debris buildup on the intake screen (clean it), or a low start-up battery voltage (charge or replace the battery).

Additionally, check the fuel pressure adjustment and adjust the TEG fuel pressure if it's incorrect. Other potential causes include a plugged fuel orifice (replace it), an incorrect fuel orifice size (replace with the correct size), debris buildup on the intake screen (clean it), low start-up battery voltage (charge or replace the battery), or a loose thermocouple connection to the valve (check and tighten).
