INSTALLATION
12 Commissioning

At the time of commissioning, complete all relevant
sections of the Benchmark Checklist located on the
inside back pages of this document
Check that the differential breaker is installed.
Check that the hydraulic and electrical connections are correct.
Check that the lter on the heat pump return is installed.
Check the airtightness of the connections.
Open all the hydraulic circuits’ valves.
12.1 Filling the glycol circuit

Warning! Do not dispose of glycol into drains
and the environment.

We recommend that you use propylene glycol
enriched with corrosive inhibitors.
Mix 1 part propylene glycol with 2 parts water. This
mixture ensures antifreeze protection down to an exterior
temperature of -15 °C.
Use an antifreeze test kit to ensure accurate dosing.

Connect one end of the hose (3) to the trap (1).
Insert the other end of the hose (3) into the container (4) in
order to recover any residual brine during the lling of the
circuit.
• Using a at wrench (2), open the trap (1) a ¼ turn.
In order to drain the glycol circuit after lling, use a ll pump.

The level of glycol may decrease during the
rst month following the commissioning of the
installation. It may also vary in accordance with the
outdoor temperature.
Any residue of glycol solution should be kept in an appropriate
container to be re-used for the next lling.
Ensure any leftover glycol solution is left with the end user
and retained in a safe place.
12.2 Activating the heat pump
Refer to the system installation manual in order to fully
activate the installation.

1 ON/OFF button
Switch ON the circuit breaker which is located on the
electrical panel and connected to the heat pump.
Switch ON the heat pump button (1). Check that the green
LED located on the heat pump’s motherboard is on.

diagram" chapter.
