NGV A3 VALVE
INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE
ENG
45/ 53
10991483 EN - 1.10 26.05.2023
Check the integrity of the components of the control unit valves.
- See § Pressure test [EN81-20 §6.3.10]
The execution of this test gives ample security that all the organs subjected to pressure,
including those that cannot be controlled visually, are intact.
III.g Overpressure valve
Check, using the pressure gauge of the control unit, the correct calibration of the pressure
valve:
- Open the pressure gauge tap (6) and go upwards with lift.
- During the climb slowly close the gate (R / S)
- Check that the valve, limits the pressure to the value required by the standards (140% of the
static pressure).
- If the intervention pressure is incorrect, adjust the valve following the instructions in the
manual of the installed valve.
III.h Emergency descent valve
- Check that by pressing manually or electrically activating the emergency descent valve(s), the
cabin moves downards.
III.i Filters
Check the main filter (FIL) mounted in the silencer and possibly clean it.
III.j Hand pump
- Check that, with the ball valve (R/S) closed, using the hand pump you can intervene the
overpressure valve (VS)
III.k Total revision
Perform, every 5 years, a total overhaul of the installed hydraulic equipment in order to restore
and make efficient all the factors that over time may have been altered
the review should include the following steps:
- Disassembly of the cylinder head and valves
- Fluid filtering and tank cleaning (filtration degree > 40 microns)
- Control and possible replacement of all piston and valve gaskets
- Control, cleaning and possible replacement of the filters on the system
- Reassembly and at the end of the revision, execution of all the checks for the commissioning
of the control unit.
6.3 MATERIALS DISPOSAL
The plant contains recyclable materials. Do not disperse them in the environment but
collaborate in separate collection (Directive 2006/66 / EC).
Especially:
PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), PE (High and Low Density
Polyethylene),
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), PS (Polystyrene or Polystyrene),
Paper, Iron, Aluminium, Wood, Glass.
In addition, the following materials, when replaced, must not be dispersed in the environment but
must be delivered to authorized collection centers, to the manufacturer or to specialized and
preferably certified companies
