Remove the rubber dust boot as
shown and loosen the two fork
crown bolts approximately 1-2
turns. Ensure that the front fork
and handlebars are able to
rotate independently.
Using right angle circlip pliers
or a pin spanner, tighten the
headset pre load tophat to 8-12
Nm.
NOTE: NEVER TIGHTEN OR
ADJUST THE HEADSET PRE
LOAD TOPHAT UNLESS THE
TWO FORK CROWN BOLTS
ARE LOOSE.
