6. START-UP AND ADJUSTMENTS
Before its rst start-up. Running-in procedure
Perform this procedure before using the compressor for the rst time. Once completed, it does not need
to be repeated.
1. Attach the wheels and the support bracket (see previous point of assembly).
2. Make sure the compressor on/o switch is in the "О" o position.
3. Open the tank drain valve.
4. Check the correspondence between the data on the compressor nameplate with the actual
specications of the electrical system and plug the power cord into a suitable socket.
5. Set the on/o switch to the on position "I" and run the compressor for 30 minutes.
6. Return the switch to the o position "О".
7. Unplug the power cord.
8. Close the drain valve.
9. At this point, the compressor is ready for use.
Before each start-up. Operating procedure
1. Turn the pressure regulator fully counterclockwise to shut o the air ow.
2. Connect the air hose to the compressor air outlet quick coupling.
3. Set the on/o switch to the "О" o position.
4. Plug in the power cord.
5. Set the on/o switch to the on position "I" and let the compressor run until it reaches the automatic
cut-out pressure.
6. Connect the ination valve or pneumatic tool connection to the end of the hose.
7. Adjust the regulator to the proper pressure for the pneumatic tool.
WARNING:
READ THE AIR TOOL INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE CONNECTING THE AIR TOOL TO THE COMPRESSOR.
8. To shut down set the switch to the "О" o position, unplug the power cord and empty the reservoir.
ATENTTION:
As the air in the tank is depleted by the use of any tool, the compressor will automatically restart at its
preset "on" pressure. When a tool is used continuously, the compressor will automatically turn on and off.
