For your safety, you should have the brakes checked
regularly. We recommend doing this every 5,000
kilometers or at least once a year in normal driving
style. However, if you are a "hot wheels" driver, you
better have the scooter checked thoroughly even earlier.
The brake pads must be at least 1 mm thick. If this is no
longer the case, they must be replaced immediately by a
qualified person.
Your Schwalbe has a CBS brake system as standard
that will stop you safely. CBS is a composite brake that
distributes the braking force simultaneously between the
front and rear brakes for better braking performance.
