Overview

The GP Recyko B441 is a smart charger designed for NiMH rechargeable batteries, offering efficient and safe charging for both AA and AAA sizes. This quick start guide provides essential information for its operation, including connection, battery insertion, level checking, and charging procedures, along with important safety and maintenance guidelines.

Function Description:

The primary function of the GP Recyko B441 charger is to recharge NiMH AA and AAA batteries. It features four charging slots, with slots 1 and 4 also capable of performing a battery level check. The charger is designed for indoor use only and ensures optimal performance and safety when used with GP Recyko NiMH batteries. It supports charging in pairs, meaning batteries should be inserted into slots 1 and 2, or 3 and 4 for proper operation. The LED indicator provides visual feedback on the charging status and battery level, making it easy for users to monitor the process.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Battery Compatibility: NiMH AA and AAA rechargeable batteries.
  • Number of Slots: 4 charging slots.

    • AAA (650-950 mAh): 2.5-3.5 hours (for 2 or 4 pcs) Note: Charging time is subject to the power rating of the USB adaptor with 5V/1A DC output and varies depending on battery capacities.
  • Battery Storage Temperature: -20°C to +35°C.
  • Charging Operation Temperature: 0°C to +35°C.
  • LED Indicator Statuses:
    • Flashing: Low battery level (during check) or Charging (during operation).
    • Solid: Sufficient battery level (during check) or Full (after charging).
    • Rapid Flashing: Single-use or bad battery detected.
  • Battery Level Check Duration: 30 seconds (for slots 1 & 4 only).

Usage Features:

  1. Connect to Power: The charger is powered via a Micro-USB charging port (1). Connect it to a power source providing at least 5V/1A.
  2. Insert Batteries: Insert AA or AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries into the slots. For AA batteries, ensure the positive (+) terminal (4) aligns with the charger's positive terminal and the negative (-) terminal (6) aligns with the charger's negative terminal. For AAA batteries, the positive (+) terminal (4) aligns with the charger's positive terminal and the negative (-) terminal (5) aligns with the charger's negative terminal. It is crucial to insert batteries correctly, observing polarity.
  3. Battery Level Check: For slots 1 and 4, a battery level check (3) can be performed. The LED indicator (2) will show the battery status:
    • Flashing: Low battery level.
    • Solid: Sufficient battery level. The check lasts for approximately 30 seconds.
  4. Start Charging: The charger is designed to charge batteries in pairs. Insert batteries into slots 1 and 2, or 3 and 4.
