What to do if my Graco Paint Sprayer motor does not operate?
    • A
      anthony58Aug 22, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer motor isn't working, begin by checking the connections at the motor control board. Then, check and reset the breaker (CB5). Inspect the brushes; if they're worn (less than 0.7 in or 17 mm), replace them. Also, check the brush springs for any misalignment or breakage and realign or replace them as needed. Ensure the brushes or springs aren't binding in the brush holder; clean the holder and align the brush leads. If none of these steps work, the armature might be shorted, requiring motor replacement. Inspect the motor commutator for burn spots or damage, and if possible, have a motor shop resurface it. Lastly, a damaged motor control board can also cause this issue, so consider replacing it.

Why is there no pressure display on my Graco Paint Sprayer?
    • F
      fgriffithAug 25, 2025
If there's no pressure display on your Graco Paint Sprayer, start by checking the display cable connections. If that doesn't work, the motor control board might have failed; open the cabinet and see if the board LED is lit. If not, consider replacing the board. Ensure the power supply meets the requirements and check all power cable connections. In some cases, the display board itself could be defective and need replacement. Also, check to see if the circuit breaker tripped and reset it if necessary.

How to troubleshoot no heat in A or B zones in Graco 246033 Paint Sprayer?
    • A
      amanda88Aug 26, 2025
If you're experiencing no heat in the A or B zones of your Graco Paint Sprayer, first, reset the circuit breakers CB3 or CB4. Ensure the heat hasn't been turned off by pressing the A or B zone keys. Check the temperature displays for a diagnostic code. The heater itself may be defective and need replacement; check its resistance. Also, inspect connectors and wire nuts for looseness. Finally, a failed temperature control board could be the cause; check if the board LED is blinking and replace the board if necessary.

If your Graco Paint Sprayer display is erratic, turning on and off, the cable may not be grounded properly. Ground the cable. Also, if you're using an extension cable, make sure it doesn't exceed 100 ft (30.5 m).

      Darryl MorganAug 30, 2025
If there's no temperature display on your Graco Paint Sprayer, start by checking the display cable connections. If the connections are good, the temperature control board might have failed; check if the board LED is blinking and ensure it has power. Also, check that the power supply meets the requirements. Loose power cables inside the display could also be the cause, so check those connections as well. If none of these steps resolve the issue, the display board itself may be defective and need replacement.

Why is there low heat in A or B zones in my Graco Paint Sprayer?
    • M
      Mark MartinezSep 1, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer has low heat in the A or B zones, check the A and B temperature setpoints and increase them if necessary. High flow can also cause this; try using a smaller mix chamber or decreasing the pressure. The heater might be defective and need replacement; check its resistance. Inspect connectors and wire nuts for looseness. Low voltage can also be a factor, so ensure the power supply meets the requirements. The temperature control board may be overheating; check the fan operation, ensure the door is closed, and verify that the cooling holes are not clogged. Lastly, if the fluid is too cold, preheat it.

Why is there no hose heat in my Graco 246033?
    • B
      barbarapadillaSep 2, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer has no hose heat, check for loose hose electrical connections and repair as needed. Also, reset breakers (CB1 or CB2). Make sure the hose zone is turned on by pressing the zone key. Verify that the A and B temperature setpoints aren't too low and increase them if necessary. A failed temperature control board could also be the cause; check if the board LED is blinking and replace the board if necessary. If you have a 380 V system, check if the In-rush Current Limiter contactor is closing when the hose heat is turned on; if not, check fuse item 120614 and replace if blown, or move to transformer checks.

      Kim RichSep 5, 2025

Why display buttons do not work properly on my Graco 246033?
    • J
      James MunozSep 7, 2025
If the display buttons on your Graco Paint Sprayer aren't working correctly, and you can't exit an operation, it could be due to a broken membrane switch, which would need replacement. Alternatively, the ribbon cable might be disconnected or broken, so try connecting or replacing it.
