What to do if my Graco 2730B has low pressure and the pump runs roughly?
    • A
      Aaron HollandAug 21, 2025
If the pressure is too low or the pump runs roughly on your Graco Pressure Washer, consider these potential issues: * A worn or wrong-sized tip: Replace it with the correct size. * A clogged inlet filter: Clean it and check it more frequently. * Worn packings, abrasives in the water, or natural wear: Inspect the filter and replace the packing, if needed. * Inadequate water supply: Verify the water flow rate to the pump. * Fouled or dirty inlet or discharge valves: Clean these valve assemblies and check the filter. * A restricted inlet: Ensure the garden hose isn't collapsed or kinked. * Worn inlet or discharge valves: Replace them. * A leaking high-pressure hose: Replace it.

How to fix a Graco 2730B Pressure Washer engine that misses or lacks power?
    • D
      David DouglasAug 23, 2025
If your Graco Pressure Washer's engine misses or lacks power, the following could be the reasons: a partially plugged air cleaner filter, which you should remove and clean; worn valve adjustment (lash), which requires adjusting the valve lash to the manufacturer’s specification; or a dirty, wrongly gapped, or incorrect type of spark plug, which you should clean, adjust the gap, or replace.

Why are the packings on my Graco 2730B failing so quickly?
    • E
      Erica AvilaAug 26, 2025
If the packings in your Graco Pressure Washer are failing frequently, consider these causes: scored, damaged, or worn plungers (install new plungers); abrasive material in the fluid being pumped (install proper filtration on the pump inlet plumbing); inlet water temperature too high (check water temperature; it should not exceed 160°F (70°C)); overpressurizing pump (do not modify any factory–set adjustments); excessive pressure due to a partially plugged or damaged tip (clean or replace the tip); pump running too long without spraying (never run the pump more than 10 minutes without spraying); or running the pump dry (do not run the pump without water).

What to do if there's water on the oil side of my Graco Pressure Washer pump?
    • B
      Brenda HarrisAug 28, 2025
If you find water on the oil side of the pump in your Graco Pressure Washer, it could be due to humid air condensing inside the crankcase, in which case you should change the oil as specified in the Maintenance Chart; worn packings, which means you should install new packings; or leaking oil seals, so you should install new oil seals.

Why is my Graco 2730B Pressure Washer leaking water from under the pump manifold?
    • P
      Patty LoveAug 30, 2025

What causes strong surging at the inlet and low pressure on the discharge side of a Graco 2730B Pressure Washer?
    • B
      Brett DavisSep 1, 2025
If your Graco Pressure Washer experiences strong surging at the inlet and low pressure on the discharge side, it's likely due to foreign particles in the inlet or discharge valve, or worn inlet and/or discharge valves. Cleaning or replacing the valves should resolve this issue.

How to fix low pressure on Graco Pressure Washer?
    • M
      Mason MeyersSep 3, 2025
To resolve low or fluctuating pressure in your Graco Pressure Washer, check the following: * Remove any kinks in the water inlet hose. * Replace the high pressure discharge hose if it's kinked. * Remove and clean or replace the water inlet screen if it's obstructed. * Tighten all water intake connections to eliminate air leaks. * Insert a high pressure nozzle. * Clean or replace the spray nozzle if it's obstructed or worn. * Inspect, clean, or replace the valve assembly on the pump if it's damaged or obstructed. * Replace worn pump packings. * Repair or replace the bypass valve if it's not operating correctly.

Why is water leaking from the heat dump valve on my Graco Pressure Washer?
    • K
      Kerry AlvarezSep 6, 2025
If water is leaking from the “Heat Dump Valve” of your Graco Pressure Washer, it could be due to the water temperature being too high. To prevent this, avoid operating the unit in bypass mode (with the trigger gun closed) for more than 3 minutes. Alternatively, the valve itself may be defective and require replacement.

How to fix detergent not siphoning in my Graco Pressure Washer?
    • G
      Gregory LesterSep 8, 2025
If the detergent is not siphoning into the low pressure detergent mode on your Graco Pressure Washer, check these items: * Ensure the detergent strainer is fully submerged in the detergent solution. * Inspect, clean, or replace the detergent strainer if it's obstructed. * Inspect, clean, or replace the detergent hose if it's cut or obstructed. * Open the detergent adjusting knob on the pump (if applicable). Refer to “Cleaning with Detergents” pg.13. * Insert a 6540° (BLACK) nozzle, as it needs to be in low pressure mode. * Clean or replace the nozzle assembly if it's plugged. * Use one high pressure hose extension maximum. * Remove, clean or replace the Ball and Spring in Venturi if stuck.

    • A
      anthonygraySep 12, 2025
