Clear any obstructions and increase the air supply, ensuring all valves are open. Second, the fluid hose or gun/valve could be obstructed, or the fluid hose ID might be too small. Open and clear any blockages and use a hose with a larger ID. Another potential cause is fluid dried on the displacement rod. Clean the rod and always stop the pump at the bottom of the stroke, keeping the wet-cup 1/3 filled with compatible solvent. Lastly, dirty, worn, or damaged motor parts can cause the pump to fail. Clean or repair these parts.
