● Make sure that the power cable is not damaged and is not laid across hot
surfaces or sharp edges.
● The connecting cable must not be stretched tightly.
● The electric safety of the unit is ensured only when it is connected to a socket
with protective conductor installed correctly. Operation on a socket without
protective conductor is forbidden. If in doubt, let the house installation checked
by a trained electrician. The manufacturer shall not assume responsibility for
damage which has been caused by absent or interrupted protective conductor.
PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Before initial use, after non-using the unit for a long time or after descaling it,
we recommend to carry out 2 brewing operations for approximately 4 cups as
described in the following, but without coffee.
COFFEE PREPARATION AND OPERATION
IMPORTANT!
The minimum preparation quantity for coffee is 2 cups, the maximum one is 10
cups.

● Insert the plug into the
socket.
● The LED-indicator will
briey illuminate and
then go out again.
● The unit is not
switched on yet.
● Press the display on
the touch display for 2
seconds.
● You will hear one
beep. The unit is now
switched on.
● Remove the lid.
