Fault Cause Measure
The slices are uneven
x The food is not held properly
in place by the food holding
bar
x Chain frame is not properly in
place
x The placing arm is not properly
screwed on
x Use the guide rail
x Check that the chain frame is
firmly in position
x Tighten the star grip
Placing programme cannot be
changed
x PLU is (not 0000) selected x Press the PLU button and then
the Reset button; “PLU 0000“

Slices, of bacon for example, are
placed too closely together in
fanning mode
x Calibre mode is set to AUTO

and move the carriage by hand
until it engages. Switch the
machine on again.
Yellow button flashes -
but the carriage does not move
(only VA 802 with option: semi-
automatic Function)!
x T handle is in the wrong
position, so the carriage drive
can not move the carriage
x Switch off the machine, set the
T handle to a vertical position
and move the carriage by hand
until it engages. Switch the

The GRAEF LOGO appears in the
display but the current
programme does not.
