Compressor monitoring
To protect the compressor and associated relays against overload - and in this way
prolong the life of these components - the control ensures that a minimum time of
about 3 minutes must elapse before a stopped compressor can be started again.
In cabinets with two compressors, the start-up of compressor 2 is delayed about 1
minute in relation to compressor 1. Compressor 2 stops about 3 seconds after
compressor 1.
This section does not apply to cabinets with separately mounted compressor unit.
Condenser monitoring
If one of the condensers becomes too hot, the associated compressor stops. At the
same time, the red LED on the left of the display lights up.
When the condenser has cooled down, the LED goes out and the compressor starts
again.
If this sequence repeats itself four times, the LED flashes all the time and the
compressor will not start again.
In this situation, switch off power to the cabinet and check to make sure the
condenser has not been covered in some way. If it has not, the high temperature can
be a sign that the condenser needs cleaning. A brush or a vacuum cleaner can be
used to clean the condenser. Start the cabinet again. After an hour it should be
running normally. If the red LED begins to flash again, request service assistance.
This section does not apply to cabinets with separately mounted compressor unit.
Fault codes on the display
F1 If code F1 is displayed it means that the cabinet temperature sensor is
defective and service assistance should be requested. In the meantime,
the cabinet itself will try to maintain the set storage temperature.
F2 If the display alternates between temperature and fault code F2 there are
problems with the temperature sensor on the evaporator. This will have no
effect on the operation of the cabinet, but the sensor should be replaced
as soon as possible. Request service assistance.
F3 If the display alternates between temperature and fault code F3 there are
problems with the temperature sensor on condenser 1. This has no effect
on the operation of the cabinet, but the sensor should be replaced as
soon as possible. Request service assistance. This section does not apply
to cabinets with separately mounted compressor unit.
F4 The code F4 indicates the existence of a programming fault. Request
service assistance.
F6 If the display changes between temperature indication and F6, this is due
to problems with the probe sensor. This does not influence the operation
of the cabinet, if the program
