If the cabinet does not start immediately it is because defrosting is taking place. The
electronics must have a short time in which to measure whether there is need for
defrosting.
NOTE:
1. Servicing
Make sure the appliance is switched off at the socket before service is performed
on electrical parts. It is not sufficient to switch off the cabinet by the ON/OFF key
as there will still be voltage to some electrical parts of the cabinet.
2. Starting up in tropical conditions
When starting the appliance in an ambient temperature of around 40°C or higher,
the display will show sensor fault F1 - F2 (because the sensor cannot register
temperatures higher than 40°C).
About 10 - 15 minutes after compressor start, the actual temperature will be
shown in the display (when the temperature has fallen to under 40°C).
Temperature regulation

-
Indicates the set temperature
P
Regulates the temperature
Temperature control:
+
-
Press to see the cabinet temperature setting; the display will
show the temperature.
Temperaure regulation:
+
-
Hold the key down.
P
At the same time, press this key.
Each time the key is pressed the temperature will change one
degree. If a lower temperature is required continue to press the
key until the lowest possible temperature is displayed. Keep
pressing the key
P
until the required temperature is
obtained. When the display shows the desired temperature let
go of the two keys and the setting has been made.
Note:
The temperature indicated by the display is always measured at the warmest point in
the cabinet. The display can therefore show a temperature which is about 2° to 3°C
higher than the coldest temperature in the cabinet. If, for example, the setting is 2°C,
the lowest temperature in the cabinet could be 0°C. This might be important if
products unable to withstand frost are being stored.
Fault codes on the display
F1 If code F1 is displayed it means that the cabinet temperature sensor is
defective and service assistance should be requested. In the meantime
the cabinet itself will try to maintain the set temperature.
