Whether this grill was assembled by you or

someone else, you must read this entire manual

before using your grill to ensure the grill is

properly assembled, installed and maintained.

Use your grill at least 3 feet away from any

wall or surface. Use your grill at least 3 feet

away from combustible objects that can melt or

catch fire such as vinyl or wood siding, fences

and overhangs or sources of ignition including

pilot lights on water heaters and live electrical

appliances.

THIS GAS APPLIANCE IS DESIGNED FOR OUT-

DOOR USE ONLY.

Never use your gas grill in a garage, porch,

shed, breezeway or any other enclosed area.

Never obstruct the flow of ventilation air

around your gas grill housing.

Never disconnect the gas regulator or any gas

fitting while your grill is lit. A lit grill can ignite

leaking gas and cause a fire or explosion which

could result in property damage, personal injury

or death.

Why is my Grandhall CSTS13ALP not lighting?

  If your Grandhall Grill fails to light, several factors could be the cause. First, turn the gas off at the source and set the control knobs to OFF. Wait 5 minutes for the gas to clear, and then try again. Make sure to check the gas supply and connections to ensure they are properly connected. If there's an obstruction in the gas line, disconnect the fuel line from the grill (do not smoke!), briefly open the gas supply to clear any blockages, then close the gas supply and reconnect the fuel line. Also, examine the burner tubes to ensure they are correctly positioned over the orifices. Inspect the ignitor for proper alignment and check for a spark at the electrode tip. Finally, check for disconnected electric wires at the ignitor junction box and ensure the AA battery is not weak.

  To fix a Grandhall Grill that won't ignite, start by turning off the gas supply at the source and setting the control knobs to OFF. Wait 5 minutes before attempting to relight the grill. Check the gas supply and connections to ensure they are properly connected. If the burner tubes are misaligned over the orifices, reposition them. If you think there is an obstruction in the gas line, remove the fuel line from the grill, open the gas supply briefly to clear any obstruction, then close it off and reconnect the fuel line. Inspect the ignitor for proper alignment and check for a spark at the electrode tip. Also, examine the ignitor junction box for disconnected electric wires and replace the AA battery if it's weak.

  To clear a plugged orifice on your Grandhall Grill, remove the burners by unscrewing them from the rear using a Phillips head screwdriver. Carefully lift each burner away from the gas valve orifice. Remove the orifice from the gas valve and gently clear any obstruction with a fine wire. Reinstall all orifices, burners, screws, and cooking components.

  To adjust the electrode tip on your Grandhall Grill, refer to steps 5 & 6 on page 11. The gap between the spark electrode tip and spark receiver should be approximately 3/16" wide. Adjust if necessary. With the gas supply closed and all control knobs set to OFF, press the electric ignitor cap and watch for the presence of a spark at the end of the electrode.

Check your gas supply and connections to ensure they are secure. Inspect the burner tubes to ensure they are correctly positioned over the orifices. If you suspect an obstruction in the gas line, carefully remove the fuel line (do not smoke!), open the gas supply briefly to clear any obstruction, then close it off and reconnect the fuel line to the grill.
