  There are several reasons why your Gravely Lawn Mower engine might not crank or start: * The safety interlock system may not be engaged or could be faulty. Check the safety interlock system. * The fuel tank might be empty. Refill the fuel tank. * The battery may be discharged. Charge the battery. * There might be a poor connection between the battery and battery cables. Tighten the battery cables and/or clean the battery and battery cables. * Spark plug wires might be loose or spark plugs faulty. Connect the spark plug wires or replace the spark plugs. * There may be a faulty electrical system or engine.
